Information for customers of Homestead Bank

What do I have to do as a customer?

Quite simply, you do not have to do anything. All your accounts remain the same, along with your checks, debit cards, interest rates and terms.

Will the people at Homestead Bank be the same?

The same friendly people who serve you today as Homestead Bank representatives will continue serving you at State Bank & Trust Company.

Will banking decisions be made locally?

Yes. We will remain a locally based bank with the authority to make decisions based on our knowledge of Gwinnett County and the surrounding north metro communities.

Will I have to make any changes to my checking or deposit accounts?

No. Your accounts will remain the same as they are today. Your checks will be honored as usual. When your supply of checks runs low, you can reorder just as you normally would.

Will rates on my CDs or savings accounts change?

We will continue to honor the interest rates on all current CDs and other deposit accounts. As with any rate-sensitive accounts, interest rates are subject to current market conditions.

Will there be any changes to my loan?

No. Your loan payments and terms remain the same for the duration of the loan.

Will service charges or fees go up?

There are no plans at present to change service charges and account fees. If we make any changes in those fees, we will always give you advance notice.

Will the bank change its name?

Yes. On February 20, 2007, we reflect our new identity as State Bank & Trust Company of Gwinnett County. Even though we have changed the name, we are still the same people serving our neighbors in Gwinnett County. Just look for the blue and white State Bank & Trust Company sign out front now.

Will banking hours change?

We have no plans to make changes to our banking hours. Our lobby and drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 until 4:00, and Friday from 9:00 until 5:00.

Will there be any new or different banking products available?

Later this year, we will introduce new convenient and enhanced services to make banking with us an even better experience. We will tell you about these new services in detail as we get close to their introduction dates.
